TERMS
A 50% advance deposit is required upon the placement of an order with the balance due prior to delivery unless other arrangements have been made. Prices on all merchandise can be furnished by the sales office when sizes, quantity and finishes are furnished. Prices are subject to change without notice. We offer quantity discounts for qualities over six of the same item, size and finish.

Shipping:
Normally all furniture is shipped blanket wrapped. If a standard cartoned freight shipment is requested the following packing and crating charges apply: 9% of the total for cartoning or 12% of the total for crating. Furniture is offered fob Los Angeles factory and can be shipped freight collect. Instructions for shipment must be stipulated in writing with the order. If shipping instructions are not received with the order, we will ship the best way possible in our opinion. the shipping and delivery of all merchandise may be subject to delays due to labor situations, acts of nature or other reasons beyond our control. All delivery dates are estimates. It is recommended that all custom orders be checked at our factory prior to shipment.
Claims:
Before accepting a shipment from a freight carrier the shipment should be examined very carefully. Please have carrier note any loss or damage on freight bill before signing. Concealed damage (damage not detected until the furniture has been unpacked) should be reported to the carrier within five (5) days of delivery so an inspection can be made. A copy of the carrier's damage report should be retained for future verification of the damages.
Cancellation:
Custom orders are not subject to cancellation after three (3) days from the order date. No return of merchandise will be accepted without written authorization from the Los Angeles office. All cancellations are subject to a 28% charge based on the invoice amount. If the order has been started there is no order cancellation under any circumstance. A customer is liable for all freight charges associated with any return.
Delivery time:
Most merchandise is shipped in approximately 8-10 weeks following receipt of deposit and designer approvals. Furniture requiring a custom design and/or color finish may have a longer delivery time.
Storage:
If merchandise is ready for shipment and the customer cannot accept the delivery, the merchandise may be transferred to storage. Transfers to storage and storage charges will be at the customer's expense. All charges to the customer will be only from the specified shipping date on the confirmation.
Finishes:
Hines Collection offers several standard wood and metal finishes. In addition "Hines " also offers premium finishes for a 15-25% up charge.
Options:
Composition gold and silver leafing: add 15%
23 karat gold and silver leafing: add 25%
Custom Finishes:
Custom finishes are available for an additional charge. For a custom color match a color sample must be furnished with order. Finish samples are available on custom colors for $25.00 per color match. Samples are 4" x 6" or 6" x 6" in size. For custom standard finishes there is usually no DP-charge for 6 or more items with the sample finish.
Custom Sizes:
When an item is purchased in a smaller size than the standard size with no other changes the price will remain at the price of the standard size. Should an item be purchased in a larger size there is a 20% additional charge for up to a 6 inch increase in any one dimension (when feasible) or a total of 10 inches in any two dimensions. If any size is needed that is not covered by this formula a price quote must be requested from the factory.

All measurements are approximate due to the nature of the natural materials which are utilized in the construction of each piece. all furniture is handmade and may vary slightly from photographs. the furniture specifications and prices are subject to change without notice. when placing an order specifications and pricing should be verified. all our furniture is manufactured in Los Angeles, California for reasons of quality control and to limit any problems with the woods and other raw material used in the production of furniture.
Wood products may show some checking, cracking and warping over time due to changes in atmospheric conditions and the geographical location where the furniture is being used; however, this is rare. Wood furniture that is near water, such as an ocean or dry conditions, such as a desert will be more likely to show changes. We try to prevent changes in the woods we use in our furniture products by only using premium kilm dried woods and select quality veneers. Every piece of furniture we manufacture passes through several inspection points prior to shipment in order to make sure that each item is shipped in a superior condition that meets our high standards of production.
If a client has a problem with any product within the first six months after shipment, the item(s) can be returned to the factory after prior written approval from for reconditioning and or repairing.
All shipping costs will be at the client expense.
